Hamilton Luske was an American animator, director and animation director for Walt Disney Animation Studios. Hired by the studio in 1931, he directed many animated shorts with Mickey's Elephant serving as his first directing job. He made his feature-length directorial debut with Pinocchio in 1940. One Hundred and One Dalmatians serves as the final feature film he directed before his death in 1968. It is his only 101 Dalmatians credit, and directed the film with Wolfgang Reitherman and Clyde Geronimi. The Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color episode "Pacifically Peeking" served as his last directed production, airing posthumously on October 6, 1968.
