101 Dalmatians Wiki

Fantasia 2000 is a 1999 American animated musical anthology film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. It serves as a sequel to the 1940 film Fantasia, which was produced by the same studio. The film, like its predecessor, consists of animated segments set to pieces of classical music.

One of the segments in the film, Pomp and Circumstance, originally had Perdita, alongside some of the dalmatian puppies and other Disney characters appear, according to a storyboard draft from 1992, when it was initially titled Fantasia II. However, this version of the segment was scrapped as the executives, alongside one of the Nine Old Men, Ward Kimball, not liking the idea of the Disney couples having babies, especially since the princesses are underaged. While the song featured in the film was kept, the story was entirely reworked and no 101 Dalmatians characters appeared in the final product.
