The Dearly family is the family who own Pongo, Missis and the puppies. In the 1961 adaptation, there were certain omissions, merges and replacements of characters. Mr. Dearly is replaced by Roger Radcliffe, Mrs. Dearly is replaced by Anita, Missis and Perdita are merged, along with both Nannies (although the Disney version keeps the Cook surname) and Prince is replaced by Pongo completely.
